Sup bitches!

In the vein of a few others, I thought I'd make a journal especially for my 101 things :) So it's at:

http://doive101.livejournal.com/

...and you can all feel free to add it if you wish to see how I've done so far/how I do in the future! I'm aware it looks like absolute shite at the moment in terms of livejournal style and all that jazz, but it's 1am and I'm just glad I got the pictures up!

Laters peeps :) xxx

Haha check it out, its a livejournal entry by ME. I haven't done one since December, and I've been stupidly busy ever since, but I've just never been arsed to do one of these. I'm back home in London for a coupla days, so maybe that's it, since it's hella boring here and I have nothing better to do.

So yeah, I passed my second year! Fuck knows how that happened. There was one exam that I literally could not have passed, since I wrote about four sides of A4, and gave up. But yeah, somehow I got a B in it! Hurray! All good then, and I can go back next year, and I'm on for a 2:1, which is luffly.

I don't really know what else to update about, since if I did everything since December I'd probably be here all day. Work is cool, I've got lots of luffly friends there and its SO nice to work with some people that aren't students! People keep leaving though :( It sucks.

I've had a wicked month going out-wise. Bon Jovi with Loz was literally the greatest day ever, I think we had the best day we could have had. The Jovi were literally jaw-dropping, I loved it. Wireless was amazing as well; DJ Shadow's first show in three years and Pharrell <3. And I have the Chilis on Monday at the Majeski, which should be wickedo. Amongst that June has seen some random trips to London at 1am from me and Ritchie, and other trips to Crunk-ton which have been muchos fun..os.

Ooooh I could do a photo update when I get home too. I'll see. Just letting you know I still read this thing and am still alive!

Laters niggas :) xxx

You all get another pressie today, an update from me :D I never bother anymore, it would all be a bit routine and samey, but that's not to say I'm not having fun mofos :D

I'm at home for like the first time EVER (well, in a while) and it's all gravy baby. First three days off work in a row since September, and I'm loving it already. Got lots of lovely presents, I really don't know what to say. My PSP is beautiful, but I have a lovely new watch and cufflinks, a Banksy best of and a big ole Live 8 dvd amongst others. I'm so chuffed. Its been very chilled today with just my mum and dad but that's all good, I can just kick back before I go back on Tuesday. I spent loads on them this year and I think they appreciated it so I'm happy about that too.

Work the last week was manic but fun I reckon. Getting on really well with everyone and think I've pretty much mastered all the basics of what I'm doing now so I don't need to panic all the time! All the girlies wrapped up my pressies on christmas eve bless em, absolute angels cause I'm fooking useless. :D

Me, Jimbo and Rob have had a cool week in a quiet house. Liz from next door was still around so we've had her round a fair bit and me and her stayed up till about 4 on Thursday chatting away, its really nice getting to know my neigbours :) We drank much wine and ate many free cookies, all after a great meal at Old Orleans. Where Rob exclaimed 'God its really like a Hawaiian theme restaurant here'. Yes Rob. In New Orleans. That Hawaii. Haha.

Anyway, that's it. Loving life. Merry Christmas everyone xxx

I haven't updated this in like a month!

Well ok let's start with Friday, where I worked till 9, went out for a leaving do at my work and then went back to mine for a house party, all in one night :| I was absolutely battered, I drank myself silly at the work do to deal with the amount of drunk people that would be at my house, and true to form, there were loads :D But it was a phat night, chatted loads to the girlies next door, and they were so safe. So yeah, blinder of a night. Then got up in the morning, and went to Chelsea with Nicky. We attempted to drink but it just wasn't happening :| I had wicked seats and at least we won, which doesn't normally happen when I go to Chelsea games these days! Then we went to Brixton for more drinking afterwards and the Prodigyyyyy. Met up with bevvied Sara (:D) and Del and Wayne, and we had one fooking amazing night. Audio Bullys were great, Eddy Temple Morris was great, atmosphere was amazing, but the Prodigy stormed the lot. What a fucking set. I was dancing like a loon by the end, because I don't think you can avoid it when Smack My Bitch Up and Out Of Space hit. No Good (Start the Dance) destroyed the place, Firestarter, Breathe, Poison, Voodoo People, Spitfire...fuck, all of them. Amazing. One of the greatest live experiences I've ever had.

I can't really think what I've been doing otherwise in the past few weeks! I know there's been a load of work, in both the uni and paid kind, and both have been going pretty well. Other than that I'm just in a bit of a routine which is all good. I'm loving my work, the people are fucking great and easy to chat to, and I'm actually quite good at it I think.

Liverpool on Tuesday, bring it on :D

xxx

Oi oi :D

I never update this anymore do I? It might be because I'm so busy like, all the time, and when I'm not busy I'm knackered, and well not in the mood to be blabbering away :) Anyway, everything is fine and dandy. Work is getting far easier...I pretty much know how to do everything now so that's nice :) And I'm meeting loadsa cool people, all different ages which is kinda weird!

On Monday I went to a foam party at Bar Med. Well, I wasn't supposed to. I'd had lectures for four hours then went to work for three, and was absolutely knackered. But all my geography crew turned up on my doorstep ten minutes after I got in from work (and most are girls, and bufftings) and literally dragged me out the door :| It was amazing though, I drank like six Reefs in ten minutes in the pub, and we did a Sourz Tower, then onto Med where everything got crazy n wild! Girls were exchanging bras for t-shirts, the foam was amazing, we got Champagne, we danced...And then this girl across the road, who has got with like, loadsa blokes and doesn't have the best reputation, got chatting to me. It was so weird cause I didn't think I'd like her at all, but she's actually the most hilarious person ever. So we went to the bar...and hit absinthe. My fucking god. We did six double shots worth before we were respectively kicked out for sickness, but in the bits in between...fuck.me. It was as if we were pilled up...we were just dancing around really slowly, just staring for minutes at a time, not even at each other, just off into space! It was a drug-like experience when you do absinthe on high adrenaline on top of a load of drink already, that's for sure. So we got kicked out, and went to sleep in a car park for a bit. Then some rudeboys came up to us and tried to mug us, but I kinda chatted at them for a bit, and made friends with them, so they walked us home and we're going to their party next week :D Tuesday was hangover hell, but what a night.

Anyway, its a chilled Saturday, cause I haven't slept in days. Two of my mates got jumped the other night so it all got a bit crazy, and I didn't really sleep till 7 cause I couldn't sleep. Haven't really slept since then! But its all good, Chelsea tomorrow, then another week of madness.

Booyaw.
Dave xxx

I've decided to do this update while absolutely mindless drunk. I don't know why, but like, so much has been going on, and I feel like I want to tell y'all, but I don't quite know if I can be bothered/if I can actually get it all out. So I'm gonna rant on here for a while, and see how it goes.

FIRSTLY, my birthday drinkie thing in London. I can't even begin to explain how fucking magical and blinding that was. I absolutely loved every second, and I thank each and every one of you for turning up because you're fucking awesome. I think I probably got more drunk than most of you (not you Sammi ;)) have ever seen me, but that's cool, because I think that's just the way my birthdays go. It was chaos, and I know things happened that were a bit mad and all that, but I think at the end of the day, it was just one of those nights out where everything just goes right, and everyone just gets on and has a right fucking laugh, and even if crazy and wild things happen, then you gotta go with it. Me and Sawah woke up in the morning and just had a right giggle at reminding each other what we did, and my god there was some cringyness, but it was fucking great all the same.

THEN comes my birthday. Well, mine and Nicky's birthday. We went to Brannigans on the Monday, and then out with my parents and onto Vodka Revolution on the Tuesday. Absolute fucking chaos. Me, Nicky and Ritchie got so fucked with my parents on the tuesday I don't even know what happpened, and the best part is, neither do they! It was pure madness, but kinda cool because it was the first time in about 20 years I've actually connected with my parents. Maturity anyone? I think so. Had the coolest fucking phone call on the Monday at about midnight with Loz too, because she's an absolute fucking diamond. And Rudeboy insisted on shouting down the phone that she had 'nice tits'. Which made the phone call either...more funny, or just ruined the whole thing. To this day I'm not sure which it was!

THEN we had a house party with the seven girls next to us seven blokes next door :D Now, we were rather worried this would turn into absolute pandamondium and just riots would break out, since between the 14 of us, we know a lot of people! But it was actually the phattest fucking party ever! The girls next door I feel like I should say something about. Literally, I've been sitting here all summer knowing they're gonna move in like 'Oh fuck, what if they're twats? This could be awful etc etc'. I have never seen seven more safe fucking girls in my life. They are all such absolute safe people, I can't actually believe it! I'm getting on so well with all of them, particularly three of them, and there's one girl that I think could become a proper best friend. In fact, we pinkie-sweared we're going to get holes in us next week. But that's gonna come later ;)

THEN we went to Dublin on a field trip. There was twenty of us, and I knew one person, and that person was someone from my old school who I used to go out with, and things have been uncomfortable ever since. Needless to say, I was dreading it. BUT we got there, and people were so fucking nice and up for it, that it was probably the best trip I've even been on with people that I don't really know :D There was a blokes dorm, which was so blokey I absolutely pissed it laughing about 100 times throughout the week. And then all the girls were so lovely and up for a laugh that it was just the best week away ever. We got drunk, we parties, we laughed, we cried (no really, ask me if you wish), but it was absolutely fantastic.

Now I'm just back from the union, fucked, after seeing about all of the above people! I've been getting on great at work, I have about twenty new friends, all you lot are great, my house is wicked, and all my previous best friends are great. How fucking chuffed am I..

Over an out, a very very drunk (and check my spelling bitches!)

Doive xxx

How's this for 9 holes of pure pub crawl genius? :D

We begin at the Halloween pub:

And move up the road to the end of Oxford Street, where, especially for Wayne, we enter the Tottenham:

We round the corner to our first novelty pub, the gayyyy bar. Its not too gay though, and its fucking awesome actually:

And onto somewhere familiar (yet not in this picture, since its changed a bit!). Lloyds!:

Now round the corner to our second novelty pub, because its so fucking small! Molly Moggs :D

Onwards to a nice little place called The Cambridge:

And down the road to an untested, yet nice looking, Spice of Life:

Now we walk past our final pub a little, and go upstairs to a nice part of the Brewmaster:

And then go back on ourselves to our last pub, because its cheap and massive and plays good music AND football:

Now we think we might change the rules of pub golf a bit, and score it based on what you drink. Therefore something nuts is a hole-in-one, a spirit or something is a birdie, a pint is an even par, a girlie drink is a bogey etc :) And then you get a point knocked off for downing something, but a point added on for being sick or being a wimp :D

I can't wait for this :D

    <lj:music>Basement Jaxx - Red Alert</lj:music>

Right now away from crazy photo updates, here's the real story of my weekend! I was just chilling out on Friday and was throughly not in the mood for ?uestlove since I wasn't going to sleep much on the weekend anyway! And Ritchie then hit me with a godsend, and rang me up also throughly not in the mood to go, so we decided to give it a miss. Probably a very good idea indeed! So we stayed in, cooked in my brand new kitchen and Boris, Flick, Rob and Jonny hung around and it was all good. Could hear the Pixies from my house too :D

So onto the Saturday, where me and Ritchie met up at about 12 to get the train to London, where we had to change to get to Liverpool. Which broke down, and got caught in 'congestion', which made a half hour journey turn into 90 minutes! Considering we were already late for Creamfields, this didn't make me happy! Then our tube broke down. Nightmare! But eventually we got some beers, and got on the train to Liverpool. We had a good laugh laughing at some Dutch people, flirting with the fit girl next to us, and just nattering away, was all good. Then we arrived at Liverpool and met up with two people that were on the train. Apparently the girl, who was very sweet by the way, only met the guy the day before, and while 'doing a ton of crack and charlie' the previous night, decided to go! He was a total joker too, so we had a right laugh on the bus with them. Wicked journey.

Finally we arrived at Creamfields, and it looked fucking awesome. Free Strongbow as we walked in, and we just went off to explore the random tents and everything, before getting down the front for Faithless. Paul Van Dyk warmed us all up, and when Faithless hit, and played Insomnia first, people went absolutely sick. The whole thing was brilliant, they are such a fucking talented band. One of my favourite in the world right now. A blonde girl also insisted on blowing a horn in the ear of this nerdy guy in front of us, and I'm not sure whether it was funny or cruel, but she instructed me viciously to 'blow her horn', which I did, and she kissed me for it :| Madness!

Stayed on afterwards to watch Basement Jaxx, and they were fucking brilliant too. Oh My Gosh! :D A bit before the end we decided to make sure we got in the tent for Fatboy Slim, and caught some Timo Maas before the end (you may remember 'What goes around, comes around, this is the sound, its time to get dowwwwn', chooon!). Fatboy was electric, the atmosphere was fucking amazing. We got a bit knackered halfway through and stood by the side, where this rather lovely girl came and grabbed both of us and got us to dance away, and proceeded to do so for the next hour, before, again, kissing me and saying 'Thank you!'. What a line :S Haha, people in Creamfields are friendly!

After that we hit some random tents, which was cool, before getting the bus at about 5am. But then finding out our train was at 8:30 which meant a solid three and a half hours waiting around in Liverpool. Which was all shut. And cold. So we wandered to the Mersey after trying to sleep on concrete in Lime Street, and then slept in McDonalds when it finally opened at 6:30. Got a train to Manchester (being in Manchester for ten minutes after a day without sleep is a total headfuck!) and then went to Reading, and head straight for the campsite!

Where touts were BASTARDS! 100 quid a ticket?! Are you shitting me?! So me, Nicky and Ritchie went to the pub next door, where eventually Sawah joined us for a little bit, which was all coolies. We headed back to mine and played some Pro Evo and the lads smoked up a wee bit, before Del, Emma, Sophie and Sawah turned up. Del and Emma bought me some vodka for keeping their car in my drive which was so sweet, and me and Sawah sat and once AGAIN nattered away till the early hours, despite her having spent four days in a field and me having not slept for forty hours! I don't know how we do it, I really don't!

Overall, fucking excellent week, I'm really smiley at the minute. Started a bit of a healthy eating kick today. I know I've done this before, but my kitchen has been knackered for a month, and you wouldn't believe how hard it is to diet with nowhere to keep/cook/prepare/refrigerate food! So now its done, I'm going large :D But yeah, away from that, thanks to everyone I saw this week, was bloomin brilliant. Spesh Sawah for the blah blah blahhhing, nice getting to know ya me dear :)

L8rz niggaz :) xxx
